Andre Canniere (brass, guitar, keys, drums)

Multi-instrumentalist and composer Andre Canniere is a leading jazz trumpeter on the London and New York circuit and has worked with some of the world's most well known and respected jazz and rock musicians. Although renowned for his brass playing, he is also a brilliant piano and guitar player.

In addition to his work as a performer and composer, Andre is an active music educator and is currently Head of Brass at London's Highgate School and a tutor at Trinity College of Music. He also teaches privately, works as an adjudicator and often gives master classes and clinics at schools and universities.

Since moving to London from his home town of New York City, André has been involved in numerous jazz and pop projects, both as a leader and as a sideman working with Peter Conway (Decca Records), Lizzy Parks, Tammy Weiss, Mark Hanslip, Ivo Neame and Liz Cass. He has played some of London's finest venues including Blackheath Concert Halls, Pizza on the Park, The 606 Club, The Cobden Club, The Soho Revue, Spice of Life and the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.

He released his debut CD 'As of Yet' on Omatic Records in 2006 to critical acclaim.
