Andy Fleet, founder of KidzRock! Music, is passionate about inspiring and encouraging young musicians to continue playing music as they grow older rather than giving up due to the wrong kind of tuition or direction. He draws from his own experience as a young teenager: "I grew tired of classical piano at Grade Five and would have given up had I not found a great jazz and rock teacher who showed me that learning music doesn't have to be about working through endless graded classical pieces in isolation but more about understanding chords, improvising, composing, playing in bands and making new friends!".

There are rockschools around that cater for beginners and teach large groups in unsuitable venues but we're very different at KidzRock!
We are a professional organisation providing a top quality rock band experience and what sets us apart from other music schools is that our students need to have been playing for at least a year and everything is done within small bands in separate dedicated rehearsal rooms before coming together in the main hall for the BIG family and friends gig. We arrange well selected songs that will both appeal to and inspire our students and hopefully widen their musical horizons. Our instructors are the best around and are all professional teachers and actively gigging. Similarly, our facilitators are experienced school teachers who bring energy and order to the day.
